I knew I had a bit of excess weight to lose but it wasn't until mydietmate told me my ideal weight range did I realise I needed to do something about it. Being told by a computer I was overweight hurt!
I then put all the foods I eat into my favourite food section and also had a look at some of my treats I used to eat and the fat content of them. When looking at these I cut out crisps, chocolate and most of all my old favourite doughnuts!
I now eat 2 slices of toast in the morning, a sandwich for lunch if possible, and an evening meal. If I get hungry during the time between meals I drink a glass of water which works for me.
When I started using mydietmate I was 15st 2lb and now weigh 14st 8lb so am doing well and I'm really pleased with my progress. I'm targeting myself to lose at least a lb every week. I now look at treats I used to eat and think 'yes nice but look at my tummy and think not nice'.
